Recap: Alles zu den 2023 VMAs!

Dieses Jahr war auf dem roten Teppich mehr Starpower unterwegs als zuvor – Selena Gomez ist nach 8 Jahren wieder bei den VMAs dabei! Auch für ihre Kolleginnen war der Abend erfolgreich. Das erste Mal seit 2017 sind die Nominierten in der Kategorie alle weiblich. Und wie bei so vielen anderen Preisverleihungen auch - räumt Sängerin Taylor Swift ordentlich ab. Mit ihrem Song “Anti-Hero” gewinnt sie in neun Kategorien. Damit hat Taylor 23 “Mondmänner” in ihrer Sammlung und überholt Madonna (20 Mondmänner). Aktuell ist nur Beyoncé mit 26 Stück vor ihr. Zusätzlich haben die VMAs ihren eigenen Rekord gebrochen! Letztes Jahr waren 26 Künstler:innen zum ersten Mal nominiert – dieses Jahr waren es 35!
